Take out or renew a subscription

All users must have a valid subscription to us the platform. This applies to both participants and coaches. With a valid subscription you can get access to all of our courses and (in some case) exams.

You can get a valid subscription four different ways; by using the 10 free trial, by taking out a subscription, by redeeming a prepaidcode, or by automatic subscription. In this article we will discuss all four ways.

 

1. 10 day free trial

Every user can get free access to the platform for 10 days. This is a trial, which you can use to determine whether the platform suit your needs. Note: you can only use the 10 day trial once

To use the day 10 trial you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in (for the first time).
  2. In the top of your screen you will see a notification that says something like: 'Your subscription has expired'.
  3. In the notification you will see two options: 'Buy subscription' or '10 days for free' Klik '10 days for free'.
  4. The notification will now disappear on it's own and you can use the platform limitless for 10 days! In case you don't immediately have access, refresh your internetbrowser.
  5. Has the free trail still not been activated? Then log of and on again to solve this problem. 

Tip! Are you a student? Then you can also save the 10 day trial to use when finishing the course with an exam.

2. Taking out a subscription yourself

When your subscription or the trial has expired, you will have to renew your subscription. Note! If you're a coach, you will usually receive a prepaidcode or automatic subscription, you can read about this in the next steps. This means you don't take out a subscription yourself. Taking out a subscription goes as follows:

  1. At the top of your screen, you will usually see a notification that says something like 'Your subscription expires in a few days'. Here, click on the button that says 'Click here to renew' or 'Take out a subscription'. You will be redirected to the page 'Subscription'.
  2. You can also visit the 'Subscription' page manually, via the menu at the top right of your screen. 
  3. On the page 'Subscription' you can view the details about your subscription(s). Here you will see the status and expiring date of your subscription. You can also renew your subscription on this page. To do this, click on 'Extend'.
  4. Now, determine for how many weeks you would like to use the platform. The longer your subscription lasts, the cheaper it gets! Select the desired amount of weeks and click on 'Choose a payment method'
  5. Choose a payment method, iDeal for example. Note: if you choose 'bank transfer, you will often have to wait at least 1 day before your subscription is active. This is because it generally takes a day for us to receive your payment.
  6. Click on 'Proceed to checkout' to complete your purchase. This means you agree with our terms and conditions and privacy statement.
  7. Complete your purchase. After we have received your payment, your subscription will be renewed. Now, you can use the platform again without limits, for the amount of weeks you have chosen.


3. Your school/organization pays for your subscription

Sometimes a school or organization will pay for the subscription of their users. Usually this is at least done for coaches, but sometimes for participants as well. The school or organization has two options when it comes to this; 1) Bill subscriptions automatically, and 2) Ordering prepaidcodes and let users redeem those.


3.1 Billing subscriptions automatically

When a school or organization pays for the subscriptions of their users, the billing of these subscriptions can be automatized. In this case, we register how many users are active within a school, and bill them automatically based on this information. The big advantage of this method is that users never have to renew their subscriptions manually!

The automatic billing of subscriptions is possible to realise for all users of a school or organization. To do this, we need to make additional agreements with (the purchasing department of) a school or organization. Would you like to know more about automatic subscriptions? Then you can contact us.


3.2 Ordering prepaidcodes and redeeming them

A school or organization can also order prepaidcodes. Usually these will be handed out during a first class for example. When you redeem a prepaidcode, you no longer have to pay for a subscription yourself. You do still have to redeem the prepaidcode yourself. To redeem a prepaidcode, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click on your name on the top right of your screen. Then click 'Subscription'.
  2. On the page 'Subscription' you will see the details about your suns
  3. Klik rechtsboven op je naam. Klik vervolgens op ‘Abonnement’.
  4. On the page 'Subscription' you can view the details about your subscription(s). Here you will see the status and expiring date of your subscription. You can also renew your subscription on this page. To do this, click on 'Extend'.
  5. Here you will see a text that says: 'Got a prepaid code? Enter it below'.
  6. Fill in the prepaidcode you have received.
  7. Click on 'Redeem your prepaidcode'. Doing this means you agree with our terms and conditions and privacy statement.
  8. If your code is valid, your subscription will be renewed. Now, you can use the platform again without limits, for the amount of weeks you have chosen.


Frequently asked questions:

  • Do I need a subscription per course?
    No, with a subscription you will immediately have access to all of the courses on the platform. Note: there might be exceptions for your platform, check this with your school or organization.
  • How do I know when my subscription ends?
    Click on your name on the top right of your screen and click 'Subscription'. On this page you can view the details on your subscription, including the expiring date.
  • Do I get a notification when my subscription almost expires?
    Yes, you will get notified of this. In the top of your screen you will see a notification that warns you about this.
  • My subscription has expired, what do I do now? Mijn abonnement is verlopen, wat nu?
    When you subscription expires but you do want to keep using the platform, you will have to renew the subscription. Only then you can keep working on your assignments or guide participants. If you're a student, your progress will always remain saved. if you're a coach, your courses and students will remain saved too.
  • I received a notification that says my subscription has expired, but this is not the case. What should I do?
    It's possible you have not logged on in the right way. You should usually do this by using the login details of your school or organization. The best way to solve this is by contacting us.
  • When can I renew your subscription?
    You can always renew your subscription! Also when your current subscription, or the 10 day trial are still active. Your new subscription will only be activated as soon as your current one has expired.
  • For how long will my subscription be valid?
    You can choose yourself for what time period you take out a subscription. With prepaidcodes, this has been determined as well. Subscriptions will continue to be active during (summer)holidays, so you can always keep on learning!
  • How do I know how many weeks of subscription I need as a student?
    Your coach has planned the courses within your curriculum. Ask your coach for advice.
  • My prepaidcode doesn't work/the system says it has already been used. How is this possible?
    It is possible that another user has redeemed this prepaidcode already. This happens sometimes when a school has ordered a large amount of prepaidcodes. Contact us so we can find out what is going on!
  • Why does my subscription continue during holidays? Waarom loopt het abonnement door in de vakantie?
    We have a modern view on education, and have the opinion that students and coaches should always be able to learn, everywhere. Besides that, holiday periods are different in every school, region and country. For these reasons subscriptions are continued during the holidays. So you can keep on learning!

    When you are using the All You Can Learn platform:
  • Can I get a subscription for All You Can Learn via extern parties, like Studers?
    Unfortunately this is not possibly. Subscriptions are always taken out directly via All You Can Learn. It is possible though that you have to order a license via en online learning resources list. You then transfer the amount of money for the subscription to your school, and they will then order prepaidcodes.
  • Do coaches also have to pay for All You Can Learn? Moeten coaches ook betalen voor All You Can Learn?
    Yes. All users need a valid subscription to use the All You Can Learn platform. This applies to both participants and coaches. In this article we explain why coaches also need a valid subscription.
